The property is above a shop in Yorkshire and has recently been renovated, the business which is on street level appears problem free, but the living quarters above have been the subject of activity for some time. Mark went to the property to speak to the clients, and interview the next door neighbour who had also been experiencing similar activity, from his findings he discovered that at one point until the mid 1950's both properties were owned by the same family and at one point they became one larger property before reverting back to separate houses. Originally when it was built during Victorian times the owner of the shop owned the property above and one of his brothers lived next door. Another brother lived with the owner. When Mark visited the property he had gone to the top level and worked his way down, as he did he says that as he was on the stairs he caught a glimpse of a pair of eyes from the side of him, he turned but no one was there. On the day of the investigation Mark visited again to take some readings and to familiar himself with the building again. The owner decided she would go next door and wait there, leaving Mark to wander around the property alone, as he made his way upstairs he could hear doors banging on the top level, (the property is a three storey house), the further he got up the stairs the louder the bangs became. As he reached the last five stairs he could still hear the doors banging, the wall at the side of the stairs was vibrating. It was very to clear to Mark what room the noises were coming from, as he went to enter the room the banging stopped, against the wall to the stairs was a three door wardrobe, Mark checked each door, finding if you opened and closed the center door with force it made the same sound he had heard. Prior to this when Mark originally interviewed the owner and neighbour, the neighbour had told Mark they had heard the banging of wardrobe doors from the upper level, even when the house was known to be empty. Children's toys have also been the focus of activity, interactive toys have been set off even when batteries have been removed. The little two year old child watched as a ball bounced in the air then rolled on its own. Present from AGH were Mark, Angie, Andy, Ian and Mike.

21:00hrs. We entered the property first and set up camcorders, one on each level in the areas the client had reported most activity, trigger objects were set up in each room along with EMF meters and Thermometers.

21:00hrs. The investigation commenced. We went to the middle floor first, which has a bedroom, toilet and a separate bathroom. We went into the bedroom now being used as an office and sat down waiting to see if anything happened. After a few minutes Andy felt there was someone stood by Ian, who also commented someone was near and that he felt a heaviness upon him, he could also smell playdough and felt as though he had chest pains, both he said were different sources. Andy meantime was still focused on what he believed was to Ian's left, saying he could see an outline of a small figure he believed was a child. He felt it was a young girl and she was curious as to what we were doing. He continued to focus in that area for another 5-6 minutes, when he said it was definitely a young girl, as the image became clearer he could see she was dressed in late Victorian style clothing and she had a bonnet on. He couldn't get much more at this time. Angie and Ian had started to sense another presence in the room, stood by the door. The person was a male and caused the too to feel a little anxious, It seemed he was unsure as to why we were here. Ian said the little girl had moved much closer to his side, Mark took temperature readings, it was 25°c at first, but then the temp went down in ones until it stopped at 16. As Ian and Andy both said she moved the temp' rose again to 25. Ian was continuing to get chest pains though now they had increased. Ian and Angie both felt the figure was stood in the hallway now between the bedroom and bathroom. Mike went to the Bathroom door and stood there to see if he felt anything. As he passed the doorway to the bedroom he felt a coldness in that area. He stood between the bathroom and toilet in an open doorway that led to both, he said he had the name Richard but never knew why at this point. Angie gave a name at the same time, Robert, but felt both names were significant. (The owner of the house and business was called Robert, his brother who lived with him was called Richard). Mike rejoined us as Andy went into the area to see if he could sense anything. Andy approached the little area 3ft by 3ft that is outside the bathroom and toilet, although you pass through an open doorway to enter this area, the reason it is like that is that the two rooms where once one room. The bathroom door was shut and Andy commented he felt he should focus on the fireplace, which confused him at the time, he said this used to be one room and he felt as though someone was gently pushing his chest, not in a nasty way. He couldn't stop mentioning the fireplace so opened the bathroom door. None of the team had been in the room before. As he opened the door he was surprised to find a fireplace on the back wall, in a bathroom. (This was significant as the client has witnessed something there before). Just then we all heard the banging of doors, all except Mark that is. Andy rejoined us as Ian went to the area to see what he felt. Mike and Andy both commented to myself that the felt as though they were being watched when they had been there. Ian commented he was being watched, and then quickly raised his hand up to look at it, asking him what was wrong he said it felt as though someone had just inserted a needle or cannula into his hand. (Again this something one of the clients has felt).

22:00hrs. We went to the top floor where there are two further bedrooms. At the top of the stairs you pass through a doorway on the last stair, into a small area between the two rooms, This area is 3ft by 5ft, and both rooms used to be one larger room. Ian stood in the doorway at the top of the stairs and turned to look back as it felt someone else was following us up there, as he did he felt a hand press on his back. We then went into the room where the wardrobe doors bang and replicated for the rest of the team, who were all convinced it was the same as the sound they had heard earlier. The client had said objects on the dressing table would often be moved or rearranged when they were asleep or out of the room. It could not have been the clients child as there is a safety gate in the doorway to the stairs. As we went to go into the other bedroom we heard someone moving around in the room we had just left. We stayed on the top floor for half an hour and as nothing was happening we went onto the staircase, which is in the middle of the house, so as you reach each level there are rooms to either side of you. As we took up positions on the stairs and landing to middle level Angie said she felt breathless and her head was pounding. I looked over to Ian and Andy who were stood side by side, noticing that every couple of seconds both would turn their heads to their left, looking over the shoulders several times, and at the exact same time as one another, without either making a single comment. As we were about to leave the area they then both commented they felt as though someone was stood behind them. Then we could the distinguished sound of a drawer being opened in the bedroom on the top floor, so we went to check but they were all closed. As we stood there we could hear two voices as if in conversation but as they were so faint it was impossible to hear what was aid or where exactly the emanated. Ian was starting to feel very woozy in the spot where he was stood so moved and it went, he went back to the same spot and felt it again, so continued this routine for several minutes as this continued. After a short while nothing else happened so we stopped for a quick break.

23:15hrs. Stopped for a break.

23:15hrs. We went back to the middle floor into the office, Andy closed the door to the toilet as it was open at this point. As he entered the room the camera on the tripod showed as Andy passed it the toilet door was open. Unfortunately as he passed the camera he and Mark blocked the view for it to record it, although both Mark and the client who had joined us both saw and heard the door close. Angie told us Robert was present again and heard a humming sound, both Andy ad the client heard this too. After about 5 minutes of being in the room we could hear very clearly the wardrobe doors banging again. Everytime someone went up to check they would stop and only start again as we reentered the middle room. Angie comments she can hear what sounds like trams going past. (According to my research on the property there was once tramlines directly outside the business). There was another noise upstairs a small banging sound that was not the wardrobe, Mark, Andy and the client went up to check. Angie continued saying to Ian and Mike, that she felt Robert was not a nice man when it came to women, he looked down on them treating them unfairly, he feels we and the client are intruding on his privacy. Upstairs the three are in the Clients room checking all the trigger objects are in place and nothing has moved on the dressing table, Suddenly we heard one of the toys going off. It was a toy sheep called Timmy. When activated it makes a Baa sound then snores. We had a voice recorder in there and when played back, there is a strange sound then the sheep and an unknown voice on the recording. The voice appears to be saying "You Watch".

Back downstairs Ian is feeling strange again and finding it hard to breathe. Angie senses a murder took place in this room, which is something the client also believes, saying she has dreamt about someone being murdered in that very room. (After research I discovered this to be true, and in the same manner both the client and Angie have described, Although I will not place the information here, due to the seriousness of it). After they had discussed it they joined us on the top floor, once there we told them what had happened regards to the toy, and tried to replicate what had happened. We soon discovered that in order for the toy to have been activated it has to be physically done. The sounds on the recording prior to the voice is the same as when someone pushed down on the toys in the box. After about ten minutes of trying this we sat down in the room for a while to see if anything else happened. Mark placed three EMF meters in the room, one by the toy box, one in the middle of the room and one at the other end of the room. Ian commented he felt as though someone had just touched the back of his neck, as he said that the EMF nearest toy the toy box started to flicker between 10 and 15 milligauss as did the one in the middle of the room, the third meter gave no reading at all. For the next seventeen minutes the two meters continued to flicker before both returned to zero at the same time. Andy thought he saw some movement through the doorway to the other room, as he did both he and Angie said they could hear a voice again. For the next few minutes nothing happened so at half past twelve we stopped for a quick break.
