A COUPLE have called in professional ghost hunters in a bid to rid their home of spirits which are making their lives "a living hell."
Richard W! And Debbie S! Decided on the drastic action after they experienced a series of strange happenings in their home in G! Street, Padiham.
And their experiences have been filmed by a television company for a future programme due to be shown next year. (This was only a possibility)
“We started hearing strange noises and we saw things like cutlery move, Passers by have told us they have seen people in the house when we were out and now we are frightened to be in the house,” said Mr. W!.
The couple say they are so scared that now they will not let their two children, C! (four) and J! (two) sleep in the house at night.
“It's like a living hell” said Mr. W!, “At first we thought the noises were just the heating system playing up, but then strange things started to happen and now we are scared of coming through the door in case something happens to us physically,” said Mr. W!.
The couple turned to paranormal investigators Angie and Mark Riley from Abbey Ghost Hunters in Scarborough for help and their fears have been backed up by the duo.
“We have done tests using specialist equipment and there definitely spirits in the house'” said Mr. Riley, “We have done held seances to try and move the spirits on, but there is one which is quite dominant and will not leave.”
“Richard is quite a sensitive person and can therefore feel the presence, whereas other people may not. There have been instances of him feeling he is being strangled and Debbie has been pulled out of bed,” added Mr. Riley.
Now the investigators are backing the couples bid to move house (please note this is rare for us to do this and have only done this twice in well 100 cases) and are to write a letter of support to Calico in a bid to have the family moved.
“The only way for Richard and Debbie to stop experiencing these feelings is to move them out of the house and we will be helping them put a case to Calico in the near future,” added Mr. Riley
