Mobile Radios: these are needed if more than one group are at the location to allow everyone to keep in constant contact, especially if one group is experiencing more than the other or if there is an emergency of some sort i.e an accident or fire.

Dowsing Rods: it is strongly believed that dowsing rods or pendulum can detect the presence of ghosts much in the same way they detect oil or water, you hold them perfectly still and by asking questions they answer yes or no, with the rods if yes they cross if no they stay still, you can also ask them to point to were the ghost is and they move to direct you, with the pendulum it goes in a circle or swings side to side to indicate yes.

Torches: again a very important tool when on location you are there of a night it's dark you will come across obstacles, stairwells and such, you need to avoid accidents at all costs,
they are also very important if someone claims to see a ghost further away so you can see almost straight away
