We take a group of up to 12 people on a tour (for HEN and STAG NIGHTS maximum is 20 people) of the Castle every month from April to September
Forget silly fright nights with someone dressed up as a Ghost and going BOO
Forget walking in the cold windy rain hearing alleged stories for an hour
Forget the alleged Most Haunted House or Pub in the UK
Spend the night a full night from 10pm until 5am in a real paranormal hotspot with many many Ghosts
Types of Ghosts we have encountered here have been Residual, Audible and Tactile,

INFORMATION, DATES AND HOW TO BOOK
The tour is for people to take part in a real investigation, our aim is for members of the public to experience a paranormal hotspot and get their own individual proof that ghosts may exist.
The tour starts a with a talk on the paranormal and safety rules then the investigation begins at 10:30pm and lasts until 5am. A Breakfast can be booked for £5 per person and must be booked at time of confirmation of your place, breakfasts must be paid for along with your deposit for the tour. see how to book below.
We will be moving from area to area all night so no sleeping bags are required, warm clothing will be required as the temperature changes rapidly, and a good pair of shoes or trainers.
(PLEASE TRY NOT TO WEAR ANY CLOTHING WITH REFLECTIVE STRIPS ON THEM)
The Castle grounds are unlevel and are mostly ground level except two enclosed rooms accessible by a staircase, you are more than welcome to bring along a camera.
There are hot beverages laid on and you may wish to bring along your own packed lunch.
Alcohol and Drugs are strictly prohibited. Transport to and from is your own responsibility and there is a FREE parking.

HOW TO BOOK
To book for one of the dates above or if you wish to book a private tour Email danbyghosttour@abbeyghosthunters.co.uk for availability (PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE CASTLE DIRECT), subject title Ghost Tour Castle and we will gladly inform you if there are places available,There is a £25 fee per person, Due to people booking then not turning up a £15 non refundable deposit (£20 with breakfast) unless tour is cancelled, is required per person for all tours and the remaining £10 payable on the night in cash as there are no facilities on site for credit or debit card payments, all the money goes directly to the Castle for maintenance funds. Tours must be booked at least two weeks in advance in order for cheques to clear in time.
Please make Cheques or Postal Orders payable to: DANBY CASTLE EVENTS (please do not send your deposit until we have confirmed places are available) please enclose a letter with your name, address, contact number, date of tour, for how many people and email address on it. IF YOU WISH TO BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ACCOMMODATE, MINIMUM BOOKING IS FOR 8 PEOPLE, IF YOUR PARTY IS LESS WE ADVISE YOU TO SELECT FROM THE PRE BOOKED DATES WE HAVE AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE A MINIMUM FEE OF £200 APPLIES. FOR EXAMPLE: Groups of 4 to 7 people a minimum fee of £200 is required. prices from 8 people and above fee is £25 per person .
PLEASE NOTE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS TAKE PLACE IN THE DARK AND THE GROUNDS ARE UNEVEN THEREFORE IN THE INTERESTS OF SAFETY WE REGRET THAT ANYONE WHO IS DISABLED OR PREGNANT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTAKE IN THE ACTIVITY, WE ARE NOT DISCRIMINATING IN ANYWAY, WE ARE JUST THINKING OF YOUR SAFETY! PLEASE ALSO NOTE AS A MEMBER OF PUBLIC ATTENDING A VIGIL, THAT ANYONE COMMITTING ANY FRAUDULENT ACT (i.e stone throwing, banging on walls or playing a pre recorded device) WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES, THE PARANORMAL WORLD IS HARD ENOUGH TO PROVE WITHOUT ANYONE DELIBERATELY FAKING THE ACTIVITY.
