Do you and a group of friends want to spend the night in a Haunted location
We take a group of up to nine people on a tour of the mine every month from February to September
Forget silly fright nights with someone dressed up as a Ghost and going BOO
Forget walking in the cold windy rain hearing alleged stories for an hour
Forget the Castles and the alleged Most Haunted House or Pub in the UK
Spend the night a full night from 9pm until 5am in a real paranormal hotspot with many many Ghosts
We have investigated some of the best alleged most haunted locations around the UK and none compare to The Cleveland Mine
Types of Ghosts we have encountered here have been Residual, Audible and Tactile,
During our investigations we have caught great E.VP.'s

INFORMATION, DATES AND HOW TO BOOK

INFORMATION.

The tour is for people to take part in a real investigation, our aim is for members of the public to experience a paranormal hotspot and get their own individual proof that ghosts may exist.
We ourselves have done four investigations at the mine and had great experiences every time without fail.
The tours start at 9pm with a talk on the paranormal and safety rules then the investigation begins at 10pm and lasts until 5am.
We will be moving from area to area all night so no sleeping bags are required, warm clothing will be required as the temperature changes rapidly, and a good pair of shoes or trainers.
(PLEASE TRY NOT TO WEAR ANY CLOTHING WITH REFLECTIVE STRIPS ON THEM)
The drifts are level and all entrances are ground level, there are no lifts as everywhere is accessible by foot.
There is a £20 fee per person, Due to people not turning up a £10 non refundable deposit (unless tour is cancelled) is required per person for all tours and the remaining £10 payable on the night in cash as there are no facilities on site for credit or debit card payments, all the money goes directly to the mine for maintenance funds, we offer our services freely. Tours must be booked two weeks in advance in order for cheques to clear in time.
Please do not bring any recording equipment as it will interfere with ours, you may however bring along a camera.
There is also hot beverages laid on but you may wish to bring along your own packed lunch.
Alcohol and Drugs are strictly prohibited.
Transport to and from is your own responsibility and there is a FREE car park.

HOW TO BOOK

To book for one of the dates above or if you wish to book a private tour Email mineghosttour@abbeyghosthunters.co.uk for availability (PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE MINE DIRECT), subject title Ghost Tour and we will gladly inform you if there are places available, Due to people not turning up a £10 non refundable deposit (unless tour is cancelled) is required per person for all tours and the remaining £10 payable on the night in cash, once we have confirmed for you places are available you must send a Cheque or Postal Order for £10 deposit per person made payable to CLEVELAND IRONSTONE MINING MUSEUM (please do not send your deposit until we have confirmed places are available) please enclose a letter with your name, address, contact number, date of tour, for how many people and email address on it. We will then contact you to inform you we have received it and confirm your place. Please send deposit to:-

IF YOU WISH TO BOOK A PRIVATE TOUR FOR YOU AND YOUR FRIENDS WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO ACCOMMODATE, MINIMUM BOOKING IS FOR 6 PEOPLE, IF YOUR PARTY IS LESS WE ADVISE YOU TO SELECT FROM THE PRE BOOKED DATES WE HAVE AVAILABLE. OTHERWISE A MINIMUM FEE OF £120 IS REQUIRED.

PLEASE NOTE PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS TAKE PLACE IN THE DARK AND THE FLOORS ARE UNEVEN THEREFORE IN THE INTERESTS OF SAFETY WE REGRET THAT ANYONE WHO IS DISABLED OR PREGNANT WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTAKE IN THE ACTIVITY, WE ARE NOT DISCRIMINATING IN ANYWAY, WE ARE JUST THINKING OF YOUR SAFETY! PLEASE ALSO NOTE AS A MEMBER OF PUBLIC ATTENDING A VIGIL, THAT ANYONE COMMITTING ANY FRAUDULENT ACT (i.e stone throwing, banging on walls or playing a pre recorded device) WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE PREMISES, THE PARANORMAL WORLD IS HARD ENOUGH TO PROVE WITHOUT ANYONE DELIBERATELY FAKING THE ACTIVITY.
