We
at Abbey Ghost Hunters are proud to be involved in charity work. If you would
like staff from
your company to attend a ghost hunt to raise money for a charity of your choice.
Please email us with details of how many would like to attend, your location
and contact number, then leave the rest to us.
Some of the charities we have helped are.
In
2004 and 2005 we took part in the bring £1 to work day which takes place
every year on the Yorkshire Coast, Yorkshire Coast Radio teamed up with Macmillan
Cancer Relief and local companies take part, their staff each donate £1
and all the money goes to the Macmillan Cancer Relief Fund, in 2004 the total
sum raised was £6,555 in 2005 we sponsored Mr. Chris Bell a presenter
at Yorkshire Coast Radio £105 to spend the night with us on an investigation
as well as our £10 contribution on the day, the total sum raised was £2,087,15p.
We have also helped members of the public raise money for their chosen charities
some of which are, ZOE'S PLACE Middlesborough with staff from the Courts, BBC's
CHILDREN IN NEED with staff from Asda, NORTH AIR AMBULANCE with staff from the
Royal Mail, St Michales Hospice in Harrogate.
